In the period from November 2023 to January 2024, a series of trainings were held aimed at strengthening the capacities of representatives from local governments in Veles, Gostivar, Debar, Vinica and Kisela Voda, in terms of children’s rights and children’s participation in issues of local importance.

The local government has the authority and responsibility to influence the quality of life of children!
The participants learned new concepts for creating child friendly cities, discussed children’s rights and children’s participation, and developed new tools and mechanisms for encouraging the rights of children and youth through their involvement in local planning.
