This manual is divided into three chapters. The first provides an overview of the meaning of child participation and includes examples of child participation. The second chapter includes practical guidelines for working with children and young people, as well as educational activities that can be carried out with other professionals working with children. The third chapter contains educational methods to encourage children's participation, including methods of sharing their experiences, learning about children's rights and ways to influence decisions in their community.
