On October 25, 2024, a consultative meeting was held in the Municipality of Kisela Voda as part of the project “Place to Grow: Child-friendly municipalities.”
The meeting was attended by 30 students from primary and secondary schools, and the youngest representatives, children from local kindergartens in Kisela Voda, were also included in the process from their daily rooms.
The consultative meeting with children was a true inspiration that we couldn’t resist! Their thoughts, ideas, and everyday needs within the municipality were transformed into creative works, essays, and beautiful crafts!
The consultations with children aim to identify key issues in the realization of children’s rights, motivate them, and drive them toward achieving the goals they express.
Based on the children’s needs, panellists will create the Strategic Plan for Advancing Children’s Rights and their inclusion in local planning in the Municipality of Kisela Voda.
As always, after the meeting, we couldn’t resist exchanging mutual gifts under the slogan: from children to children.
The consultative meeting is an activity within the “PLACE TO GROW: CHILD-FRIENDLY MUNICIPALITIES” project, implemented by the First Children’s Embassy Megjashi and KMOP Skopje with support from the European Union.
