Children in Gostivar Involved in creating the strategic and action Plan for children’s rights.
Consultations with children were held in Gostivar as part of the initiative “Place to Grow: Child-Friendly municipalities.”
The goal of these activities was to encourage children’s participation in decision-making processes and to create an environment that meets their needs.
During the consultations, the children discussed important topics such as discrimination, access to healthcare and educational services, creating a safe and clean environment, as well as the need for green spaces and a swimming pool. They also emphasized the need for greater protection from violence and protection from stray dogs.
These requests will become part of the commitments of the Municipality of Gostivar to become a place that upholds children’s rights, in accordance with the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
