On December 12, the Municipality of Vinica hosted the third working meeting with representatives from the local municipal panel, which included the municipality, the education sector, civil society, associations for culture, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), the Center for Social Work (CSR), and children. The meeting focused on creating the Municipality of Vinica’s strategy for children’s rights.
Participants demonstrated strong commitment and actively proposed concrete steps to improve the lives of children and youth in the community.
The key strategic goals identified were:
- Fair treatment and respect for children by the community and local authorities,
- Listening to and integrating the children’s needs into local policies,
- Providing access to quality education and social services,
- Creating a safe and clean environment, and
- Facilitating family life, play, and leisure time.
The active engagement of panel members led to the definition of activities and feasible solutions to advance children’s rights in the municipality of Vinica.
